By following these rules, you contribute to a positive gaming experience for everyone. However, violations will lead to enforcement actions, which may include a permanent ban from the platform.
Community Guidelines
1. Protect Personal Information
Respect the privacy of others by refraining from sharing personal information beyond their display name. Threatening to reveal alternate accounts, real names, or any sensitive details about other users is strictly prohibited.
2. Promote Respect and Inclusivity
Expressions of hate, discrimination, or intolerance are not tolerated at Rogue Wave. Celebrate and respect the diversity of our players, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, or other personal attributes.
3. Maintain Respectful Communication
Engage with others in a considerate and respectful manner across all forms of interaction, whether during gameplay, chats, or creative contributions. Bullying, intimidation, humiliation, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be accepted.
4. Avoid Impersonation
Do not misrepresent yourself as another player, public figure, or Rogue Wave employee. Claiming another player’s achievements or pretending to be someone you’re not is against our rules.
5. Play Fair
Fair play is essential to maintaining an enjoyable environment. Avoid any form of cheating, sabotaging other players, forming conspiracies, or exploiting bugs. Sharing cheats, vulnerabilities, or known game issues is also prohibited. If you discover a bug, please report it.
6. Avoid Dangerous or Illegal Behavior
Engaging in or endorsing illegal activities, such as online fraud, gambling, or distributing personal data, is strictly forbidden. Additionally, do not post content glorifying violence or make threats, even if intended as jokes.
7. Create Appropriate Content
All content shared within the Rogue Wave community should inspire positivity and adhere to our Content Requirements. Ensure your contributions align with these principles.
Consequences for Violations
Each rule violation is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the severity, prior history of the user, and other relevant factors. Penalties range from temporary suspensions to permanent bans from the platform.
In the event of a lifetime ban, players may lose access to all their accounts, games, and virtual assets.
How to Report Misconduct
Our community thrives when everyone contributes to its positive atmosphere. If you observe someone breaking the rules, report their behavior directly through the in-game reporting tools.
For players you simply dislike but who are not violating the rules, we encourage you to block them instead of reporting.
Protecting Your Safety
Always prioritize the security of your personal information and account. Be cautious of scams or offers that seem “too good to be true.” Rogue Wave provides tools and resources to enhance player safety, including parental control options for families.
